Situation:  General Moly (NYSE American: GMO) was a publicly-listed US company that owned and managed two US development stage molybdenum mines.  In the face of declining molybdenum prices, General Moly faced balance sheet liquidity and maturity constraints.

Solution:  Headwall Partners, together with Odinbrook, advised General Moly through a Chapter 11 Reorganization process that concluded with a merger of General Moly and Alloycorp Mining to form New Moly, a North American molybdenum development company with four mine assets in in the US and Canada.
